Im trying to upload a video from Windows Movie Maker but on youtube it says it has to be in WMV format.

How do I change this?

Click on File (top left of the screen) and select Save Movie File ... or use the keyboard shortcut, which is Ctrl+P. This saves your file with .wmv as default. This will load OK on YouTube.

You can download a video file converter to convert the Movie Maker file to .WMV format. Do a search on www.download.com to find a video converter program.
With a media file converter - just convert the input file to .wmv output.
