How do you change the video format so I can upload it on to youtube.com.?

I want to upload this video that I have spent hours working on. Its about how Cloud Strife and Tifa Loakhart from FFVII should be together and every time I go to upload it it says its a microsoft movie maker file (.MSWMV) and that I need to export my movie and import it in .WMV format. How do I do this?|||(I have no idea what kind of crap responder #1

the possibility that you mistakenly saved your


video as a %26quot;MSWMM%26quot; file with %26quot;Save Project%26quot;,


instead of as a %26quot;WMV%26quot; or %26quot;AVI%26quot; file with either


%26quot;Publish Movie%26quot; (using Vista) or %26quot;Save Movie


File%26quot; (using Windows XP).





There is a monster of a difference between the


first example and all the others: the first is not


only considered as a %26quot;work in progress%26quot; saved

The others actually save your file into what you

A different way to save your video, so that you


can upload it, is:





1 -- click the blue %26quot;Tasks%26quot; icon......(you%26#039;ll get the %26quot;Movie Tasks%26quot; menu)





2 -- click %26quot;Finish Movie%26quot;, the 3rd option......(it will expand to 5 choices)





3 -- click %26quot;Save to my Computer%26quot;......(the %26quot;Save Movie%26quot; wizard appears)





4 -- enter the name of your movie......(it is best to stay in %26quot;My Videos%26quot;)





5 -- click %26quot;Next%26quot; at the bottom......(you%26#039;ll get the %26quot;Movie Setting%26quot; page)





6 -- click %26quot;Best quality for playback%26quot;......(it%26#039;s usually the default setting)





7 -- click %26quot;Next%26quot; at the bottom......(you will get the %26quot;Completing%26quot; page)





8 -- click %26quot;Finish%26quot; at the bottom......(the saving may take quite a while)

Did you make the video on Windows Movie Maker? Because if you did, and only saved it as a project, I think that would be the format it comes out in. You have to either %26quot;Publish Movie%26quot;, or depending on the verson, %26quot;Save Movie File%26quot; to get it to .WMV... I used to do that all the time and wonder why it wasn%26#039;t working...





If its not WMM and its just some other problem, try going to mediaconverter.org. You can convert files to any video or music file... its pretty fast and convenient.
