HOW TO CHANGE VIDEO FORMAT PLEASE HELP!?

i just downloaded a movie of the internet, and now i want to burn it to a dvd.





but when i browse the video, it says the burner program does not support this format.





how can i change the format of the movie, and what do i change it to??

|||From your details i assume that you are trying to make a DVD video of the file to be played on a home DVD player. Since your burning software is saying it does not support the format you need to convert it to the format supported by the burner generally mpeg (.mpg). So first identity the file format of you video by looking at the extension of the file e.g. myvideo.wmv (where .wmv stands for windows media video file) Once have found the format then do a Google search for converter that converts the file to a format supported by your DVD burning software.
