How to change Video file format?

i have a video i edited on windows movie maker and i want to upload it to myspace but i cant because its not the right format. How do i change it into an acceptable format?|||I just answered a question like this, here%26#039;s my answer:

Don%26#039;t be put off by their cheesy advertising, it%26#039;s really a great program. The only downside is that it%26#039;s a pretty big program, but if you have enough space, it%26#039;s so worth it.|||You can look up on google for video converters and download the software, I do not know any file converters at this time though.
