How do i change quick time video format to edit in movie maker?

You should be able to simply import from any Video Format into Movie Maker. However, if you cannot then use a Rewritable CD and burn a VCD from your QT movie. Then you can import from the VCD to Movie Maker. You could also download a converter (e.g. xilisoft) but you would then need to pay for a license.
