You can't just turn a .wav, .wmv. or .avi into a jpeg...it just doesn't work like that. Maybe what you're thinking of is a .gif. You might be able to upload it like that.

JPEGs can't animate, but GIF images can.



I did exactly what you want to do, though I don't remember what program I used but just search for a video to GIF conversion program and that should do it.



Just keep the GIF relatively small in file size....or it will take forever for your friends on slower connections to see it play out. It also helps to add a pause either on the first or last frame before it repeats the video. You should know what I'm talking about once you download a decent video-gif conversion program. There are many out there, and if you only need it for one picture you should be able to find one for free, or at least with a free trial that'll work for you.
