you tube video,s are most likely of .flv formats

download and install 'Riva flv encoder and flv player'

http://www.download.com/riva-flv-encoder

Now ,either you can convert those to .mpeg ,.avi,.mpg so that you can create a library of your own.

Once you have to install Riva flv encoder, open it, and press Browse next to the Input File (which will be your FLV file). This will make a title appear in the Destination Video File box. It will say .flv at the end.

you can here change the FLV to mpeg or whatever you want. But only change this in the 'Destination Video File box'

Once you have selected that, look to the right and choose the correct movie size i.e. the size the FLV file is, to keep it looking the same quality. Bigger will obviously stretch it and make it look crap.

For the Framerate, I always put mine onto 30. Bitrate to 1600. And down the bottom, where it says Audio Bitrate, put that to 160. And Sampling Rate to 44100.

Make sure you're happy with the Output Directory i.e. where you want your new mpeg file to be. Then press Encode.

It might be best not to run anything while this is converting, as it might crash.

or you can directly play flv movies with 'VLC Media Player'

It's more sophisticated than Riva as you can change the brightnee, gamma correction, hue, colors and other graphics display property options with it. It's link is
