Is there a way to change the video file format on a sd card?

i have thi sd card and whenever i make videos ond upload them to my computer- there in %26quot;quicktime%26quot; format and i want them to play in %26quot;windows media player%26quot; but i dont no how- is there a way that i can change it so that when i upload it- they play in windows media player?Is there a way to change the video file format on a sd card?i dont know that much about sd cards.but i do know about file conversion.i assume you are uploading it from a camera.once you have located the file form what ever programme you use to import or from my computer.all you have to do is highlight the video files and drag them on to you desktop.once you have done that get your self a video file converter.the type you are looking for is mp4 to avi.there are alot of them on the market right now.nost are free trials or only convert part of the file.you can buy the full version or get it free from a torrent site.
