How To Change The Video Format On Kodak EasyShare Z700 Camera?

When i take video with my EasyShare camera, it automatically saves it to .MOV format. This is an odd format for me. I was told there is a way to change your camera settings where it saves the video as an .AVI. Is this true? and if so, how do i do it? And yes, the MOV format is annoying because it tends to be the least compatible. Some cameras now record in DivX or MPEG4. I recall there are a few models from Pentax and Casio which use those formats.
